PVC Products in our Rubber Store

Polyvinyl chloride – or PVC – is a chemically resistant, rigid polymer, which, however, can be made more flexible by adding some plasticiser. Because of this, it can be used in a much wider variety of applications. In this article, you can read about our various PVC products, such as the clear, soft PVC strip, PVC hoses and edge protection profiles.

PVC hoses

Our hoses made of PVC can be used for a number of different applications, let’s take a look at what these can be.

Our PVC water, air and spray hose is suitable for usage in the garden or in agriculture – for example for irrigation –, but it performs well in an industrial setting too. In addition, it can be used not only with water, but it also transports air and chemicals excellently. The diameter of the PVC hose can be chosen to suit your needs, and its maximum work pressure at 18 °C is between 10-17 bars, depending on said diameter.
Our
PVC hose with reinforcement has similar qualities, but due to its polyester reinforcement, it is rated to 20 bars of pressure.

The transparent PVC hose provides a way to visually inspect the liquid being transported. It is designed primarily for low-pressure or pressure-free application. In addition to other industrial usages, it can be utilised in the food industry as well. Just like all our other PVC hoses, this variant is also available with various diameters.

Our PVC fuel hose is suitable not only for fuel, but it can be used with air and water too, while also being moderately chemical resistant.
As for our
PVC spiral hose, it is excellent for usage around the house, as well as for industrial purposes, or even while connected to a pump.

As PVC loses hydrogen chloride above 70 °C, we set our PVC hoses’ maximum operating temperatures accordingly: they are rated for temperatures between  -20 °C and +60 °C – with the exceptions of our PVC fuel hose, which can be safely used between  -10 °C and +60 °C; and the water, air and spray hose, which is rated for temperatures between  -5 °C and +60 °C.

PVC strip

In an earlier article, we have already discussed the advantages of our clear, soft PVC strip: by affixing these PVC strips in a doorway, we get efficient thermal insulation even with an open door. When used in this way, this PVC strip is the perfect solution for doorways of cold rooms, or for keeping the shelter of your farm animals or pets warm in the winter.

Other PVC products

Our other PVC products include PVC edge protection profiles and various work safety gloves: cold protection gloves, chemical resistant gloves and dipped sewn work gloves.
